Former Manchester United and Real Madrid star Cristiano Ronaldo has said that Saudi League is better than the France Ligue 1. The Al-Nassr captain Cristiano Ronaldo said this in the 15th iteration of the Globe Soccer Awards.
Ronaldo reportedly said: “[The] Saudi League is better than Ligue 1, of course. France only has Paris Saint-Germain. The rest are finished.” Remember earlier in the year, Ronaldo said something similar at the 14th Globe Soccer Awards.

Then he claimed that the Saudi Pro league is more competitive than Ligue 1, and now he is saying it again. His comment drew criticism from managers in Ligue 1 including fellow countryman Paulo Fonseca.
The manager is on the opinion that the striker has never played in the league so he cannot really know hard the league is. That was not the only comment he made as he talked about his former side Manchster United and also the Ballon d’Or awards.
Ronaldo Says Vini Deserves Ballon d’Or not Rodrigo
Ronaldo said, in his opinion both Rodrigo and Vini deserves the award but Vini deserves it more. He said Vini scored in the final and also won the Champions League that other things they are talking is not important.

He said Manchester United’s case is not that of management but the players. He used an analogy of a fish which sick in an aquarium, he said if the fish is sick and you take it out and change the water when you put the fish back inside the aquarium it will still be sick.
In his opinion, the players are the problem and not the coach. He also talked about buying a football club someday.
