Nigerian dancer and artist Lil Smart has come forward with shocking allegations against record label associates Naira Marley and Zinoleesky.
In an emotional recount, he accused them of attempting to kill him on Sunday, December 8. According to Lil Smart, he was “kidnapped” by the duo, taken to a remote bush, and brutally assaulted by their affiliates known as “INN and MMP.”
In a harrowing description, he claimed they stripped him naked and tried to break his legs with stones. The dancer shared: “I managed to escape and ran to the express road naked.”

He posted a video showing injuries including bruises on his arms, legs, and face, with visible blood, as evidence of the ordeal. Another video allegedly depicts Zinoleesky pursuing him on the expressway.
In an emotional recount, Lil Smart linked his current plight to a past collaboration, stating, “In 2019, I created the Tesumole dance for Naira Marley, and now he wants to kill me.”
The artist accused the record label of harboring dangerous intentions, alleging: “They want to do to me what they did to Mohbad. “He called the record label “Apayan (killer) record rebel” and revealed he has photographic and video evidence to substantiate his claims.
These allegations come in the shadow of past controversies involving the label, notably the tragic death of former signee Mohbad in 2023.
His death followed accusations of intimidation and harassment, with public speculation pointing towards Naira Marley and Sam Larry.
Lil Smart’s revelations have reignited debates around the culture within certain record labels in the Nigerian music industry. Fans and critics alike are calling for an investigation into the allegations.
