Afrobeats sensation Tiwa Savage has disclosed why she has no plans to sign any artists.
The acclaimed African Bad Girl cited the immense pressure and challenges that come with managing talent.
During a recent live session, the award-winning singer and songwriter addressed fans who frequently inquire about when she will take an artist under her wing.
In response, she made it clear that she lacks the capacity and patience to handle the complexities of artist management.

“Everyone is asking when I’m going to sign an artist. I don’t think I have the gift of doing that. Artists can be stressful,” she admitted, emphasizing the difficulties associated with the role.
Tiwa Savage further elaborated on how the ever-evolving landscape of social media has made the music industry even more demanding, adding that trends and online scrutiny add to the pressure of nurturing talent.
Despite her reservations about signing an artist, the ‘Somebody’s Son’ hitmaker is still committed to supporting aspiring musicians. She revealed that she is in the process of establishing a music school, which will serve as a platform for artists to hone their craft and potentially secure record deals.
With a career spanning over a decade, Tiwa Savage has cemented her status as one of the most influential figures in Afrobeats. Rising to fame with hits like Kele Kele Love, All Over, and Malo, she has continuously pushed boundaries in the Nigerian and global music scenes.
The singer-songwriter, who once signed with Mavin Records, became the first female African artist to ink a major deal with Universal Music Group. She has collaborated with international stars such as Beyoncé, Brandy, and Wizkid, further solidifying her legacy.
