Tottenham Hotspur players despites al l odd defeated injury infected Manchester United 1-0 to return to winning ways. Before the game, the club has gone through two knock outs. They were knocked out of the Carabao Cup and the English FA Cup.
More than 1,000 Tottenham supporters attended a protest against the club’s ownership before the game against Manchester United. The fans were chanting “Levy out” and “Enic out” as they brought flags and banners to the protest.
Tottenham players did not allow the protest to get them as they gave out their heart to beat Manchester United. The game was an exciting game with lots of scoring chances. Both keeper were called the actions most of the time in the game.
Former Leicester City English playmaker James Maddison go the goal in the earlier minutes of the game. It was a re-bound from Son’s shot in the 13th minute of the game. United were without most of the key players due to injury.
Many will blame the loss to their injuries, the likes of Amad, Martinez, Erikson, Mainoo, Luke Shaw, Evans and more of their key players were out through injury.
They had to promote some of their youth team player to boost their team and it is likely that’s what they will till the end of the season. Tottenham are now in the 12th place position while Manchester United dropped to the 15th place position.
