Muhoozi Kainerugaba, son of Uganda’s President Yoweri Museveni, has ignited a social media frenzy following a bold statement about Nigerian music sensation Ayra Starr.
In a controversial post, Kainerugaba expressed his interest in pursuing the “Sability” singer, declaring:
“My late grandfather… Mzee Amos gave me permission to get any woman on earth! I will capture that girl… Ayra Starr.”
The unexpected remark quickly gained traction online, with fans and commentators debating its tone and implications.
While Ayra Starr has yet to address the statement publicly, her supporters are keenly watching for a response from the rising Afropop star.
Muhoozi Kainerugaba (50), a senior military officer and an outspoken figure in Uganda, is no stranger to making headlines with his provocative social media posts.
His father, Yoweri Museveni, has been at the helm of Uganda’s government since 1986, making him one of the longest-serving leaders in Africa.
