Controversial social commentator, VeryDarkMan, has ignited fresh drama online with the release of a blistering diss track aimed at three high-profile figures.
This include singer Portable, Edo State Governor Monday Okpabelo, and controversial preacher Prophet Jeremiah Fufeyin. The diss track, released on July 23, 2025, sees VeryDarkMan taking direct shots at Governor Okpabelo over his West African Examination Council (WAEC) results, which recently leaked online.
“E8, WAEC result of a governor. INEC, shame on you,” he rapped, questioning how someone with such grades could emerge as a state leader. Next, he revisited his long-standing feud with Portable, mocking the singer over a previous altercation involving an alleged tricycle theft.
The incident had reportedly led to Portable being beaten by locals. VeryDarkMan also took aim at Prophet Jeremiah Fufeyin, whom he ridiculed for his so-called “healing water.”
The activist has repeatedly criticized the clergyman’s miracle products—including soap, water, and perfume—branding them ineffective and exploitative.
Fufeyin, in response, has taken legal action, filing a ₦1 billion defamation lawsuit against VeryDarkMan. In the suit, the prophet alleges that the critic’s statements severely damaged his reputation, embarrassed his congregation, and tarnished his business relationships.
The diss track marks the latest in a string of bold public confrontations led by VeryDarkMan, who has built a reputation for calling out celebrities, politicians, and public figures he deems unworthy of their platforms.
While the full audio of the track is available online, it has already sparked intense debate across social media, with fans and critics reacting to the sharp lyrics and relentless tone.
