“We Deserved what Happened” Pep, Bernardo Silva Reacts

Following another defeat to Manchester City, the head coach Pep Guardiola and Bernardo Silva has come out to react to the loss. The manager said he is “not good enough” while the player maker said they deserved the loss.

Manchester City has suffered many set backs this season since the injury of Rodri. They were beaten during the week by Juventus in the Champions League and now Manchester United beat them at the Etihad Stadium.

It is the first time in many years Manchester United will be beating City at the Etihad. The home team got the opener in the first half of the game but United equalized from a penalty spot.

Amad Diallo then struck a 90th-minute winner after left-back Matheus Nunes gave a poor back-pass to put Ederson in trouble. Pep Guardiola however took responsibility, he has recorded eight defeat in 11 games now.

Speaking about his loss he said: “I’m the boss, I’m the manager, I have to find solutions but I don’t find solutions,” he said after the game.” “This is a big club and when you lose eight [out of 11 games] something is wrong. You can say the schedule is tough or the injuries to players, but no.”

“I’m the manager and I’m not good enough, simple as that. I have to find a way to talk to them, to train them in the way we need to play, to press the way we need to press.” “I’m not good enough. I’m not doing well. That is the truth.”

Pep is not the only one reacting as Bernardo Silva has said they deserved to lose. He said: “In the last minutes we played like Under-15s… and you pay the price.” “We deserved what happened. Stupid decisions, we made. It’s the decisions that you make.” “We have to look at ourselves.”
