Nigerian music icon, Ayodeji Balogun, popularly known as Wizkid, melted hearts at the Tribeca Film Festival in New York when he unveiled the face of his newborn daughter for the very first time.
The emotional moment happened during the premiere of his new short documentary, “Wizkid: Long Live Lagos”, which explores his journey, Lagos roots, and global rise to stardom.
The beautiful baby girl, born by Wizkid’s longtime partner and manager, Jada Pollock (popularly known as Jada P), made her first public appearance at the prestigious festival, stealing the spotlight with her adorable looks.
Fans were quick to flood social media with admiration, coining the nickname “Machalina” for the child — a feminine twist on Wizkid’s popular alias “Machala”.

The touching reveal came as a surprise to many, as Wizkid and Jada P are known for keeping their family life relatively private. However, this public debut of their daughter has warmed the hearts of fans across the globe.
