Young Nigerian and England star Rio Ngumoha made history in Liverpool 4-0 FA Cup win over League 2 side Accrington. The younger player was among the few players that made a mark in the game as Liverpool rolled pass their opponent.
At 16 years and 135 days old, Rio Ngumoha became the youngest starter in Liverpool’s history. He is the club’s second-youngest debutant – behind Jerome Sinclair.

The second goals came after his shot was deflected back and the ball passed to Arnold who did well to place the ball in the top corner. The opener came when Diogo Jota converted Darwin Nunez’s square ball just before the half-hour mark.
The second half was far from a damage limitation exercise for the visitors. They tried to come back to the game, Josh Woods almost scored by his ball struck the crossbar.
The game soon took another turn when Jayden Danns, who had replaced 16-year-old debutant Rio Ngumoha only minutes earlier, made it 3-0. Another substitute Chiesa rounded up the scoring as the game ended 4-0. The host, Liverpool are through to the fourth round of the competition.
