Their last two appearances in the FA Cup finals was in the 1990s and 2016 they lost to Manchester United on both occasions. With this win now they are set for next season’s Uefa Europa League.

City is currently in the sixth place position with a game at hand and if they fail to win of the last two games they will not make it to next year Champions League.
