Former Chelsea and Nigerian star John Obi Mikel has come out to say he believes Nicolas Jackson is now Cheslea’s third choice striker. He said this after the performance of new signing Joao Pedro in their game against Fluminense.
Nicolas Jackson has been with Chelsea for two years and his impact has not been noticed much. The arrival of Liam Delap and Joao Pedro has now threatened. Delap, a £30million has made a very positive impression at the Fifa Club World Cup, same thing to Joao Pedro.
Meanwhile Jackson started the game on the bench and to make matters worse, missed a huge chance after coming on in the second-half. With his performance so far many has said he will be on the bench for a long time because he cant bench Delap or Pedro now.
Chelsea will now face Real Madrid or Paris Saint-Germain in the Club World Cup final on Sunday. The Premier League giants would be targeting a second Club World Cup title after picking the title in 2021.
