Nigerian activist VeryDarkMan, also known as VDM, has revealed that Don Jazzy, the renowned music producer, was the mysterious donor who contributed N100M to his NGO.
On October 17, 2024, through his verified Instagram account, VeryDarkMan confirmed the donation, sharing his continued disbelief.
Previously, VDM had expressed confusion after an anonymous donor sent N100M, which raised the total in his NGO’s account to N170M. In his post, he pleaded with Nigerians and Zenith Bank for help, fearing the large sum might be tied to fraudulent activities.
In a new turn of events, VeryDarkMan shared the message he received from Don Jazzy, which read: “Morning bro. Just saw your post. Na me send 100m to support. I believe in what you are doing and trust you to be as transparent as you have always been. We really need that in our country. I wish you all the best with the project and more blessings to you. E no easy.”

Still in shock, VeryDarkMan acknowledged that he never imagined Don Jazzy would support his cause with such a significant amount. He expressed deep gratitude and shared his ongoing astonishment at the gesture.
The activist’s NGO, launched on July 12, 2024, focuses on providing quality education for children in public primary schools and creating jobs for graduates.
In just one week, the initiative raised N170M, with the goal of reducing the number of graduates forced into low-paying jobs.In an emotional video, VDM thanked Don Jazzy and prayed for blessings upon him, writing, “As you have supported this cause… may God bring long life and Good health to you and your household.”
“Till now I can’t believe it… One hundred million naira left an account just like that. As you have supported this cause to bring better basic education for our public school children, may God bring long life and good health to you and your household” he said.
