Michail Antonio Finally Talk 3 Weeks After Horrific Accident

West Ham United and Jamaican striker Michail Antonio has finally talked after he was involved in a horrific auto-crash. The player speaking for the first since he had the accident said he is “grateful” to be alive.

Antonio was discharged from the hospital on Tuesday, as he has been in the hospital since he had the accident. He had been in the hospital for more than three weeks after undergoing surgery.

The Jamaica international needed to be released from his car after becoming trapped in the accident. It was reported that the accident happened on the incident on 7th. When the accident happened he was rushed to central London hospital.

Mitchel Antonio talking about the accident said: “Every year around this time, I’m asked what I’m grateful for, and every year I’ve struggled to find the right words. But this year, I know exactly what I’m grateful for: being alive.”

He made this known on his social media and he posted a picture of himself standing with crutches. He also said: “I’ve spent so many years taking life for granted. I made plans for the next day, the next year, always assuming tomorrow was guaranteed.”

Antonio still speaking said: “I’ve seen close friends pass away, witnessed others face near-death experiences, and even then I didn’t fully grasp just how precious life is.” “What I’ve been through recently has opened my eyes. Life is fragile, and every single moment matters. I’m so grateful to God for giving me the strength to keep going and for allowing me to still be here.”

The player the post by saying “I’ll be back on that pitch soon,” after he had thanked the emergency and medical services that have supported him since the accident, along with the “whole football community.”
