Multichoice, the organizers of the popular reality TV show Big Brother Naija, have unveiled a significant change ahead of the show’s tenth edition.
As part of the latest twist, the audition process will be conducted entirely in person, eliminating the online audition component that had been a feature in previous seasons.
This announcement was made through the show’s official Facebook page, where it was also stated that the audition dates would be announced soon.
The post read: “This time, it’s all about showing up and being you. Ready to shine? ✨ Get ready, your moment is closer than you think! 💥 Season 10 is coming.”
Big Brother Naija, commonly referred to as BBNaija, is one of Africa’s biggest reality TV shows, attracting millions of viewers across the continent. The show, modeled after the global Big Brother franchise, brings together contestants who live in an isolated house while being continuously monitored by cameras.
They compete in various tasks and challenges, with evictions occurring periodically until a winner emerges. The winner receives a substantial cash prize along with other rewards.
