Nigerian rapper, Odumodublvck, has opened up about a generous gesture from superstar singer, Davido, who recently gifted his girlfriend ₦10 million.
The revelation came during a recent interview on Beats 99.9 FM, where the fast-rising artiste praised Davido not only for his support but also for his belief in those around him.
Odumodublvck, who made waves at the 17th edition of the Headies Awards by clinching the coveted Next Rated and Best Rap Single categories, attributed part of his success to the unwavering support of his girlfriend.
“Shoutout to Davido, that’s my brother. Two days ago, he sent ₦10M to my girlfriend,” he disclosed during the interview.
He explained the reason behind the impressive gift, stating, “He sent the money for being a real gee. I think she’s a key part of my success, and I have to give her credit.”
Odumodublvck’s public appreciation for his partner sparked admiration online, especially as he emphasized her influence in his career milestones. The acknowledgment reflects a side of the artist many fans may not have seen before—one that values personal support as much as professional effort.
It’s no surprise that the bond between Odumodublvck and Davido appears solid. The duo collaborated on the 2024 track Funds, which also featured singer Chike that made his 2025 album, 5ive.
Their relationship, built on mutual respect and shared musical chemistry, continues to grow beyond the studio. Davido had also publicly backed Odumodublvck’s chances ahead of the Headies Awards, a show of support that now seems prophetic given the rapper’s double win.
