Manchester City returned to winning ways as Pep Guardiola marked his 500th game in charge of Manchester City with a win over struggling Leicester. Savinho and Erling Haaland both scored each as they beat Ruud van Nistelrooy’s men in the King Power Stadium.
It is the defending champions first win in their last 10 Premier League games. They are however still not close to leader Liverpool. They are now in the fifth place position.
Pep Guardiola had promised not to give up despite the poor run as it is his worst run as a manger. They traveled to the King Power Stadium with high hopes and t paid forth.
Savinho scored the opener in the first before providing assist for Haaland who scored the second. The two goals were enough to give Pep Guadiola a happy 500 games in charge of the club.
