Wizkid’s “Morayo” Conquers Apple Music Charts in 93 Countries

Afrobeats maestro Wizkid has once again solidified his position as a global music icon with the release of his new studio album, titled “Morayo”.

The 16-track project, which dropped in the early hours of Friday, November 22, is already charting in 93 countries on Apple Music, with an impressive #1 position in 20 of them.

The album features an eclectic mix of tracks, including Kese (Dance), Piece of My Mind, Million Blessing, Don’t Care, Bad Girl, Slow, Karamo, Soji, and Troubled Mind, among others.

Renowned for pushing boundaries, Wizkid collaborates with a star-studded lineup of artists such as Asake, Tiakola, Jazmine Sullivan, Anais, and Brent Faiyaz. The album also boasts a soul-stirring intro by Fuji legend King Wasiu Ayinde Marshall (KWAM 1), who recently performed at Wizkid’s mother’s burial.

Morayo was co-produced by P2J, whose masterful soundscapes create the perfect backdrop for Wizkid’s innovative artistry as well as P Prime.

Fans and critics have been quick to praise the album, with singer Ayra Starr enthusiastically rating it “10000/10.” The project showcases Wizkid’s versatility and cements his status as a leader in the global music scene.
